Dear Management Doctor:
Every year we hold a management retreat that leads into our budget preparation for the next year. This year the focus of our retreat is not the Capital Improvement Projects but the people, emphasizing on how we can develop better leaders in the organization — not only at the management level, but at all levels.
We want to make this retreat a real fun event, therefore I'm looking for some interesting icebreakers that relate to the leadership concept.
All ideas are welcome. Thanks!
I gave a few suggestions to your questions in a prior Management Doctor. Click here to read "Fun Meetings."
I also suggest you buy this book on retreats, Retreats That Work, Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer, 2003.
Please get back to me and tell me what worked and what didn't.
For more fun,
